happy birthday usa!

A huge rainstorm dampered our 4th of July plans just a bit... but we managed to go to IHOP for a delicious breakfast, take a stroll through the park in our new wagon, eat some festive cupcakes, go out to dinner with friends, and play around with sparklers. We skipped out on going to a fireworks show because our kids go to bed at 6pm... I didn't want grouchy kids the next day. It was a nice, low-key kinda holiday... just what we needed!
