right on track

Evy's profile
Had an ultrasound this morning to check all the growth and development of baby Evy and it looks like everything is right on track. I am 23 weeks along and she is measuring just a day behind, which means she has caught up from measuring over a week behind in the early stages of the pregnancy. And yes, the double checked and she is still a SHE! She weighs roughly 1.7 lbs right now and has the most adorable chubby cheeks! My placenta is anterior which is why I didn't feel movement until about 16 weeks this time around (with Jude it was 12 weeks) and her movement is by far less frequent than the boys'. The anterior position of the placenta should not cause any complications except that the baby most likely will be turned the wrong way - looking upwards towards the ceiling when delivered -  which will cause lots of back pain. Hopefully that's not the case though because I'm hoping to deliver naturally. But at the moment she is breech too... so hoping she flips the right way and turns over too. After the ultrasound went shopping and found the most adorable outfits for her! I will have to take a picture of the stash she has already collected. My oh my! I think I can get used to having a girl to shop for :)
