baby food makin'

I am venturing into making homemade baby food for my sweet one. Recently we have begun doing vegatable purees and adding them into Noah's food because he refuses to eat anything that resembles a veggie. We have started buying mostly organic foods (especially dairy, meat, and produce) and figured that instead of paying crazy prices for organic baby food that I would just make it myself. It was SUPER easy and fun. While the boys napped I pureed avacado, banana, squash, carrots, and carrots and then put them ice cube trays to freeze. After they were frozen I seperated them into ziplock baggies... each cube is about one ounce so it makes it easy to open the freezer, take one out, let it thaw for 15 minutes, and then serve a healthy and delicious meal!!!

I am so tempted to try this! Mary sent me some ways to do food too. Do you find it takes up a lot of space in the freezer?

Jude is looking so big! His 1/2 birthday is coming up this week too! :)
