Noah's occupational therapist recommended a 'chewy tube' for him because he is constantly chewing on his hands, toys, and Jude's pacifier when he sneaks off with it. She says that he is trying to meet his sensory needs through deep jaw compression. So this chewy tube is just a hard plastic tubing that allows him to meet those sensory needs more efficiently. As you can see, Noah is quite a fan of his new chewy tube!
